EARLY POSTNATAL PILATES PROGRAM.
This is a great place to start your recovery from, after having been cleared to exercise in your postnatal check-up. The earliest recommended start would be 6 weeks in case of vaginal & 12 weeks in case of cesarean birth.
In these early days, you will be juggling a lot and you might find that there is not a whole lot of time for yourself. On the other hand you might feel that this is really the time you should be taking good care of yourself to recover well and be as functional as you can for your growing baby.
I have made my 7-week online program so that the start of your Pilates journey would not feel overwhelming. Each week, you have 2 mini-workouts to do. How many times you do them is totally up to you. You will start from learning deep core control by slowly rehabilitating your abdominals & working on your mobility to release tension.
The program is pre-recorded so you can choose whether you follow it week by week as suggested or create your own rhythm in exercising. It is set up this way so that you would not have to follow anyone else’s schedule but build your own around your routines with the little one.
