Core Rehab & Upper Body

In this particular class, upper body strength & mobility shared the focus with the abdominal engagement. It is important to understand that to best recover our abdominals after we have had a baby, we need to challenge the abs in various positions and try to work out the all the muscles in the abdominal muscle group and not just isolate one.

So, the added challenge today is to find length in a side stretch with TVA engagement, targeting also the oblique muscles. I introduce this exercise in 2 levels so you have a choice to keep it more basic or add a little challenge. It is extremely important to follow my tips and cues and make an informed decision regarding your readiness for the more challenging version.
